The role of HR has since undergone a transformation. Increasingly seen as it should be - as a business partner, during the same period the recruiting function within organisations has also gone through much change and the In-House recruiter is now equally a business partner.

Social media challenges all parts of the organisation to adapt. HR and Recruiting are no different. Today, whether it be access to social media, social media policy or background checking using social media, the organisation demands answers and policy.
